The awarded Contract involves the design and construction of a 7.298 km viaduct, including the construction of platforms for seven stations — Pushp Vihar, Saket District Court, Pushpa Bhawan, Chirag Delhi, GK-1, Andrews Ganj, and Lajpat Nagar.
The contract also includes pre-engineered building structures at all stations from Lajpat Nagar to the Saket G Block corridor. The total value of the contract is ₹447.42 crore, inclusive of 18% GST, and the execution timeline is 36 months.

Last week, Rail Vikas Nigam signed a letter of agreement (LoA) for an order worth ₹143.3 crore from South Central Railway. The contract pertains to upgrading the work of the electric traction system of the Salem division of Southern Railway.
In particular, the work involves upgrading the electric traction system from 1×25 kV to a 2×25 kV traction system for Salem Junction – Podanur Junction & Irugur – Coimbatore Junction -Podanur Junction. With the updated system, Southern Railway will be able to meet the 3,000 MT loading target, according to the update.
The cost of the work is ₹143.3 crore, including taxes and the contract is to be completed within 24 months.

Shares of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd ended at ₹382.35, up by ₹0.80, or 0.21%, on the BSE.
