Dilip Buildcon wins order worth ₹698 crore from Gujarat government


Dilip Buildcon Ltd. on Saturday, March 28, said it has received a letter of acceptance from the Gujarat government for the construction of the flood protection embankment on Narmada river in Bharuch district.

The order is worth ₹698.49 crore and is on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis.


It received the letter of acceptance from Gujarat government’ Narmada Water Resources Water Supply & Kalpasar Department.

The order is to be completed in 24 months, the company said in an exchange filing.

Earlier this month, the company was declared the lowest bidder for a road construction project worth ₹160.2 crore.

The project is for the construction of diversion road from 4/700 km to 11/500 km of the Duduka–Gopalpur–Toparia Road, which is a six-lane corridor with a service road, in Sundargarh district, Odisha.

Odisha Bridge & Construction Corporation Ltd. floated the tender and the project will be executed on an EPC basis. The competition period for the same is 18 months, the company said.

Shares of Dilip Buildcon ended the previous session 3.85% lower at ₹389.85 apiece. The stock has declined 17.7% this year, so far.
