
Eicher Motors | The company posted a 17.5% increase in net profit to ₹1,170.5 crore in the third quarter of FY25, up from ₹996 crore a year ago. However, the figure came in lower than the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate of ₹1,191 crore. The company’s revenue rose 19% on-year to ₹4,973 crore, compared to ₹4,179 crore in Q3FY24. This was also below the ₹5,042 crore expected in CNBC-TV18’s poll, indicating a slight miss in top-line performance. On the operational front, EBITDA increased 10.2% to ₹1,201 crore, compared to ₹1,090 crore last year.

Escorts Kubota | Farm and construction equipment firm Escorts Kubota Ltd on Monday (February 10) reported an 8.5% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit at ₹323.2 crore for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2024. In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, Escorts Kubota posted a net profit of ₹298 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing. The company’s revenue from operations was up 8.5% to ₹2,935.4 crore as against ₹2,706.4 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

Sona BLW | Auto component maker said it has amended and restated its business transfer agreement (BTA) with Escorts Kubota for acquiring the railway equipment division (RED), revising the expected completion date from September 2025 to May 1, 2025. The amendments include adjustments to the timeline for obtaining business-related registrations and changes in payment terms. Under the revised structure, ₹1,600 crore of the transaction consideration will be held in escrow and released in tranches upon meeting specified milestones.

Shriram Properties | Realty firm said it has entered into a joint development agreement (JDA) to develop a premium residential complex in Koyambedu, a key urban micro-market in Chennai. The project will have a total saleable area of 3.2 lakh square feet and is planned for development over the next three years. With an estimated revenue potential of ₹350-400 crore, the project is expected to be launched in early FY26.

Force Motors | The company reported a 35% year-on-year (YoY) rise in consolidated net profit to ₹115.3 crore in Q3 FY24, compared to ₹85.4 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s revenue increased 11.7% YoY to ₹1,889.5 crore, up from ₹1,691.7 crore in Q3 FY23. However, operating performance was subdued as EBITDA grew only 3.2% YoY to ₹231.7 crore, compared to ₹224.5 crore a year ago. The EBITDA margin shrank to 12.3%, down from 13.3% in the year-ago period, reflecting rising input costs and other operational challenges.

Nykaa | The company’s net profit surged 61% year-on-year to ₹26 crore. The same stood at ₹16 crore in the year-ago quarter. Nykaa’s revenue grew nearly 7% to ₹2,267 crore, compared to ₹1,788.8 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year. The company’s Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) jumped 43% to Rs 141 crore as against ₹98.7 crore in the same period a year ago.

MTAR Tech | The company reported a 52.9% jump in net profit to ₹15.9 crore for the December quarter of FY25, compared to ₹10.4 crore in the same period last year. The bottom-line growth was supported by higher revenues and strong order execution. The company’s revenue surged 47.3% on-year to ₹174.4 crore, up from ₹118.4 crore in Q3FY24, reflecting increased demand from the defence, aerospace, nuclear, and clean energy sectors.

Lupin | Drug firm said it has received approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) for ipratropium bromide nasal solution (nasal spray), 0.03% (21 mcg/spray), to market a generic equivalent of Atrovent nasal spray, 0.03%, of Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. The product will be manufactured at Lupin’s Pithampur facility in India.

RVNL | State-owned company said it has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a ₹335.4-crore contract from South Western Railway. The project involves the survey, design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of Kavach equipment and other associated works over 790 route km (RKM) in the Hubballi and Mysuru divisions.

National Fertilizers | State-owned company reported a 69.7% year-on-year (YoY) decline in net profit at ₹45.8 crore for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2024. In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, National Fertilizers posted a net profit of ₹150.9 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing. The company’s revenue from operations dropped 22.8% to ₹5,855.9 crore as against ₹7,584.3 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

Apollo Hospitals | The company’s net profit soared 49% year-on-year to ₹379.4 crore, outpacing market expectations. The strong bottom-line growth was driven by higher revenues, improved operational efficiency, and a steady rise in patient volumes. The company’s revenue for the quarter stood at ₹5,526.9 crore, marking a 13.9% increase from ₹4,850.6 crore in the same period last year.

CRISIL | Rating agency reported a 7% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit at ₹224.7 crore for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2024. In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, CRISIL posted a net profit of ₹210.1 crore. Revenue from operations dipped 0.5% to ₹912.9 crore from ₹917.7 crore in Q3FY24. At the operating level, EBITDA was up 5.7% to ₹287 crore in the third quarter over ₹271.6 crore YoY.

Balmer Lawrie | Diversified public sector undertaking’s net profit came in at ₹64.4 crore for the quarter, marking a 3.3% decrease from ₹66.6 crore in the same period last year. Despite the drop in profitability, the company saw an improvement in its revenue, which grew by 7.8% to ₹630.4 crore, compared to ₹584.6 crore in Q3 of FY2024. Balmer Lawrie’s EBITDA surged by 14% to ₹83.9 crore, up from ₹73.6 crore in the year-ago period.

Ashoka Buildcon | The company reported a strong rise in profitability for Q3 FY25, with profit before tax surging 62.4% year-on-year to ₹306.7 crore, despite a drop in revenue. The profit growth was driven by improved operational efficiencies and higher margins. The company’s revenue for the quarter stood at ₹2,387.9 crore, reflecting a 10.1% decline from ₹2,657.1 crore in the same period last year. However, EBITDA rose 7% YoY to ₹638 crore, up from ₹597 crore, indicating improved cost management.

Patanjali Foods | Edible oil major reported a 71.3% jump in net profit in Q3FY25 at ₹370.9 crore over ₹216.5 crore year-on-year (YoY). The company’s revenue from operations grew 15.1% to ₹9,103 crore against ₹7,10.7 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal. At the operating level, EBITDA jumped 57.1% to ₹540.5 crore in the third quarter compared to ₹344.1 crore in the year-ago quarter.

NALCO | State-owned company reported a 232.83% year-on-year (YoY) jump in net profit at ₹1,566.3 crore for the third quarter, compared to a net profit of ₹470.6 crore in Q3 FY24. Revenue from operations jumped 39.3% to ₹4,662.2 crore against ₹3,347.6 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal. At the operating level, EBITDA zoomed 200.89% to ₹2,327.6 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal over ₹773.8 crore in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal.

Grasim Industries | The company reported a consolidated net loss of ₹168.7 crore for the third quarter of FY25, significantly higher than the ₹74 crore loss estimated in the CNBC-TV18 poll. The company had posted a net profit of ₹236 crore in the same period last year. Revenue rose 26.9% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹8,120.3 crore, compared to ₹6,400 crore in Q3 FY23, but fell short of the ₹8,208 crore projected by analysts.

Bata India | Footwear major reported a slight increase in its net profit for the third quarter (Q3) of FY2025, rising by 1.2% to ₹58.7 crore, compared to ₹58 crore in the same period last year. Bata India’s revenue also grew by 1.7%, reaching ₹918.8 crore, up from ₹903.4 crore in Q3 FY2024. Bata’s EBITDA for the quarter surged by 9.3%, totaling ₹199.3 crore, compared to ₹182.4 crore in the year-ago period.

Sansera Engineering | Auto component manufacturer reported a 15.8% surge in net profit at ₹55.6 crore for the third quarter over ₹48 year-on-year (YoY). Revenue from operations increased 2.1% to ₹727.8 crore against ₹712.6 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal. At the operating level, EBITDA was up 5.3%% to ₹127 crore in Q3 FY25 over ₹120.6 crore in the year-ago quarter.

ESAF SFB | Thrissur-based private lender reported a net loss of ₹210.9 crore for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2024. The bank had posted a net profit of ₹112.1 crore in the same quarter a year ago. Net interest income (NII) dropped 18%, coming at ₹487 crore against ₹597 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY24. The gross non-performing asset (GNPA) stood at 6.96% in the December quarter against 6.98% in the September quarter. Net NPA came at 2.97% against 2.98% quarter-on-quarter.

GSFC | The company’s net profit rose 13.5% YoY to ₹133.9 crore, up from ₹118 crore last year. Revenue saw a 40.2% surge to ₹2,814.1 crore, compared to ₹2,007.8 crore in the same period last year. Operating performance improved significantly, with EBITDA jumping 47.2% to ₹158.5 crore, up from ₹107.7 crore YoY. Margins remained stable at 5.6% versus 5.4% last year.
